Westchester shines on a weekend full of holiday fun

Westchester — Greater The Westchester Chamber of Commerce is rethinking the meaning of this year’s holiday by launching Westchester’s first ever Chester County Hospital Light Up Holiday Weekend.

The historic city of Westchester is lit by thousands of holiday lights every night from November 26th to January 1st. Transformed into a winter wonderland, every weekend there is a new outdoor holiday activity, shopping and dining hosted by Chester County Hospital. ..

A month-long celebration will replace the Westchester Christmas Parade, which was canceled due to a pandemic last year. The production of this year’s parade, which requires a one-year plan, relied on the distribution of vaccines and the return to face-to-face events.

Starting Friday, November 26th, thousands of lights will be illuminated block by block, followed by the long-awaited tree lights on the historic court staircase in Westchester on December 3rd.
