SpiceJet, EaseMyTrip enter partnership for holiday bookings

Mumbai: Budget airline SpiceJet has entered into partnership with online travel portal EaseMyTrip for holiday bookings. The partnership announced on Wednesday, aims to offer a customised and hassle-free experience for holiday bookings for the upcoming season.

As per the statement shared by the airline, the holiday booking services of SpiceJet will be exclusively powered by EaseMyTrip. As a part of this association, EaseMyTrip will develop a holiday booking platform for SpiceJet. SpiceJet customers who wish to book holiday packages can book the same from this platform.

Whereas, EaseMyTrip aims to expand its ambit across the rapidly growing holiday segment. The company will also look to address the existing customer base of SpiceJet.

Nishant Pitti, CEO and Co-Founder, EaseMyTrip said, “With a reviving holiday segment, we are exploring new avenues of growth from the sector, and this collaboration is a step towards that effort”.

While SpiceJet will offer exclusive benefits like priority services (check-in, boarding, preferred Bag out), complementary meals & extra legroom seats onboard, EaseMyTrip will facilitate the designing, contracting, and booking of these holiday packages using their existing partnership across hotels, transfers and sightseeing. The partnership will offer multiple destination choices for the customers from the likes of frequented destination like Kashmir, Goa and Kerala to exquisite destinations like Jaisalmer.

Spicejet has been focusing on non-ticketing revenues and has taken multiple action in this direction.
