UK holiday retreat bans visitors who have received a Covid-19 vaccine

The UK vaccine roll out continues with booster jabs being approved ahead of winter, but opinion is still divided with many yet to receive a first dose.

While the UK has rejected the introduction of a vaccine passport, many Brits who have escaped for a summer break have found it a requirement in many EU countries to gather in public places.

But the owner of a countryside holiday retreat in UK has gone against the tide banning all visitors who have been vaccinated against coronavirus.

A public notice read: “With great sadness we have made the decision that we will be unable to welcome folk on site that are ‘vaccinated’ with the experimental CV19 jab.”

Blaeneinion eco-retreat in Wales has announced it will only welcome unvaccinated guests with owner Sharon Girardi calling the vaccine “experimental”.

She decided on the ban out of a “duty of care” to her family and guests and had received an “overwhelming outpouring of love and support from like-minded souls”.

A public notice read: “With great sadness we have made the decision that we will be unable to welcome folk on site that are ‘vaccinated’ with the experimental CV19 jab.”

Blaeneinion is a conservation project set in 75 acres of land located at the head of Artists Valley.

Miss Girardi said: “We have honoured all previous bookings regardless of visitors’ beliefs on vaccination.

“There are many people with the same views that I are cautious about the experimental nature of the injections. They are grateful to have somewhere to go.”
