A cruise is one of the most reliable ways to travel during uncertain Covid times and many people who would normally never contemplate a holiday on board are now changing their minds.

During the early stages of the pandemic, cruise holidays, like other forms of travel were outlawed. But since voyages resumed there has been an upsurge in interest among first-timers and those more used to life on the ocean waves.

Many cruise lines are tempting people back on board with a host of money-saving deals. So now is a fantastic time to grab a bargain.

There are cruises to sort everyone – from themed short voyages to epic round-the-world trips. Here’s a few of the offers available.

TUI Marella

Emerald Cruises

Guests booking an Emerald Cruises European river voyage for next year will save up to £1,300 per person. Those who book and pay in full before February 18, 2022, or 120 days prior to departure, whichever is sooner, will save a further £200 per person with Emerald Cruises’ Early Payment Discount.

The eight-day Legendary Rhine & Moselle river cruise which sails from Bernkastel to Mainz, taking in Trier, Cochem, Koblenz, Rüdesheim and Wiesbaden, starts from £1,495 per person based on September 18, 2022 departure on board Emerald Dawn . Scenic Cruises

Small ship specialist, Scenic has unveiled a raft of offers across its portfolio of river cruises and expedition voyages for travellers looking to secure their preferred suite, itinerary and sailing date for less. Scenic is offering savings of up to £2,500 across its river cruise collection and up to 20 per cent across their ocean voyages, for a strictly limited time only.

An eight-day Gems of the Danube river cruise starts from just £2,195 per person based on April 11, 2022 departure. Sailing from Nuremberg to Budapest, the itinerary will introduce guests to Regensburg, Passau, Linz, Mëlk, Dürnstein and Vienna. Visiting Nuremberg’s rock-cut cellars for a unique underground beer tasting, sailing the Danube Gorge to view historic Weltenburg Abbey and enthralling guests with an exclusive private classical concert within the opulent Palais Liechtenstein in Vienna.

Royal Caribbean

Masks are now required for all Royal Caribbean guests aged two and above regardless of vaccination status unless eating or drinking.

The policy will be reviewed on January 5, 2022.

Face coverings were previously required for all guests but there were designated areas and venues where vaccinated guests were able to remove their masks.

The cruise line’s website states: “We are continually evaluating mask policies as public health standards and government regulations evolve. Booked guests will be advised of the latest requirements for their port of departure before sailing.”
