Cheap £30 flights available for summer European city breaks

The UK is set for a heatwave this week, but lounging in your garden, or by the windowbox of your flat, is not quite the same as sipping iced-coffee in some European piazza. Luckily, there are some bargain flights up for grabs departing in July and you could be on one of them if you are quick.

Tom Church is the co-founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, and has sought out some of the top deals on flights available right now. Tom says: “With so much travel uncertainty for those of us wanting to jet off on a getaway in the next few months, it makes sense to find some bargain options – so that, in the event that your travel does get cancelled, you’ve not got too much cash on the line.

“It’s proving pretty difficult to book flights in August right now which are budget-friendly, but the good news is that there are loads of flights available which are £30 or less in July, with plenty clocking in at just £20 for a round trip – that’s £10 each way! If you can get some time off work or book the kids in for a holiday abroad as the summer holidays begin, here are some of my top choices – and these flights will leave you enough money spare to have a great time on your trip.”

Travel expert Tom added: “Don’t forget, all is not lost if your flight is delayed or cancelled. If you’re waiting for two or three hours, you could be entitled to food and drink, plus free internet access. You’ll need to speak with a member of staff to see what you’re entitled to if you’re not contacted directly once the time comes.

“Plus, if your flight is cancelled, you’ll be entitled to either a full refund or a replacement flight so you can still get to your destination. What’s more, if you would be delayed by two or more hours by a replacement flight, and you had less than two weeks’ notice, you will also be entitled to compensation.”
