Goulburn Valley Libraries has a great variety of ‘Marvellous Makers’ craft sessions these school holidays.
From macramé to paper folding and game making, there is something for everyone.
There will also be NAIDOC Week celebrations, with craft activities, colouring and more.
Pick up an activity program at your local library or visit www.gvlibraries.com.au/holidays to take a look.
A GV Libraries spokesperson said take-home craft packs were back.
“Inside every pack are four different crafts including two NAIDOC Week activities,” the spokesperson said.
“Each pack includes templates and instructions. These activities are great for all ages and can easily be made by younger children with a little bit of grown-up help.”
You can pick up your craft packs at all library branches and the mobile library during open hours from Friday, June 24, until Sunday, July 10.
Templates will also be available to download and print via www.gvlibraries.com.au/holidays
“We also have a very special ‘meet up with the mobile library’ series of visits scheduled during the holidays,” the spokesperson said.
“Bring a picnic blanket, a jacket and some snacks and join Andre at the mobile library to make pom-pom poppers and floating ball toys.
“All locations, times and dates are included in the activity program.
“Visit our website and you will also find #StayAtHome Storytime videos that each have a craft activity to download, as well as access to many other great resources such as Story Box Library, Kanopy Kids, BusyCode, BorrowBox, LOTE Online for Kids and so much more.
“Our popular rhyme and story times are running through the holidays.”
